Center Psychotherapy’s Intern Program

Center Psychotherapy developed its intern program in 2024 providing mentorship, continued education, and trauma-centered training for its interns. We take a hands-on approach to our internship program by providing thorough support and mentorship. Interns are invited to participate in our weekly consultation groups (Trauma and Dissociation, EMDR/KAP Consultation, Cultural Humility, and Child Consultation) as well as additional training from outside trainers. 

Our interns are provided with weekly supervision from one of our senior clinicians, with us for 5+ years, as well as access to peer-consultations from our other clinicians. 

Our interns have come from UMass Boston as well as Southern New Hampshire University. Folks that do not have insurance that we accept are able to see interns for a reduced cost of $50 per session as well as folks that are looking for short term therapy (less than a year).
